What is your nemesis move? The one you hate to practice but probably need to practice the most. The one that makes you feel like you don't deserve to have feet to dance on. The one that causes your meltdown whenever it's cued.
Arabic Shimmy for me. Without a doubt, it's my weakest move.

Re: Nemesis Move?
Wed, February 27, 2008 - 2:34 PMshoulder shimmies. They used to actually even make me want to cry, but Katy has drilled it into me enough that I'm starting to think I can do it. I just still hate it though. I mean I'm trying not to hate it anymore. Maybe I'll practice shoulder shimmy tonight. Maybe as I get a little bigger up top, I'll feel a little better about it. or at least not feel like I totally suck. Definite nemesis.

Wed, March 5, 2008 - 5:52 AMthe newbie will ring in with figure 8's. Somewhere there's a disconnect between my brain and my body. Like, I get it in my head but my hips are like "lalalala we don't hear you"

Wed, March 5, 2008 - 7:03 AMJust maintaining a nice, big, even shimmy. If I think too hard it starts and stops, turns into a vibration, or disappears entirely. -
