Just wanted to say that it felt good to be back. I was sorry I didn't get to talk to any of you troupe girls, but I hope we will be seeing each other more regularly now. Your Halloween number looked great!!!! You would not believe how much I missed everybody. I will try to bring the kids to one of your gigs soon.

I'm not going to the workshop on the 4th because Robyn and I have an Eagle to Squirrel performance that night (with the 80's Pop Rocks show at Southgate, a really fun event that everyone should come to wearing their best parachute pants) So I'll have to miss it, but I hope you take good notes and share 'em with us.
And YES! I was just thinking that I need a good craft night. I have lots of costume-making to do for that wacky Halloween routine : )

Fri, September 26, 2008 - 1:20 PMI was so happy to see you and then immediately bailed once troupe practice was over without even talking to you. If it's any consolation, I had a dream that night that I was babysitting Leigh and I almost let her fall off a top bunk. Weird, right?
So anyway, glad you're back! And I am in favor of craft night also. There's a serious amount of shells, bones, twigs, berries, leaves, hair, etc. at Mellie's house that somehow needs to become costumes for 6. We can't let her do it alone! And plus, I never finished the belt I started at your house at our last craft night. -

I think I am supposed to be making myself a belt for the bit the intermediate class is doing. I will probably see if any of them want to come over and work on their belts, too. (I have no idea what they are supposed to look like.) Are Friday nights still best?? (I am always here with my infant, teaching my first grader and kindergartener - Tess has started her own design company; wait til you see what she's been working on!) SO anyway, next Friday is Oct. 3rd or the next one is Oct.10th? Whatcha think??? -

I'm up for the 3rd, provided I don't have an Eagle to Squirrel rehearsal (we have a show on the 4th at Southgate).
On another note, Rachel I have such respect for you and am amazed at all the things you do for your family. You have some lucky kids! Homeschooling has to be SO hard... -

The 3rd sounds good to me. Let me know about your rehearsal/availability. I am thinking about inviting the girls from the intermediate class that are doing the Brides of Frankenstein with me at the Harem Scarem. I believe we are supposed to be making ourselves matching belts, but I don't even know what they are supposed to look like. If you let me know Monday or Tuesday, I can let them know when I see them. We are all meeting up at Tiffany's tomorrow night to go over things. -
